Typically for this series, we at Index match current staff members with their look-alikes in our collections. But on a recent trip to our Archives, we discovered that this tradition of art imitation at the Harvard Art Museums dates back to the 1960s. At a masquerade ball in the Calderwood Courtyard, several attendees showed off their best impressions, including Degas’ ballerina and Whistler’s mother. Can you help us guess the other costumed guests?
