Prepare for the U.S. citizenship exam with art at the Harvard Art Museums!

In partnership with the St. Mark Community Education Program, the Harvard Art Museums are pleased to offer a free 10-week course that will prepare students to answer the exam’s 100 civics questions and offer instruction to improve their English language skills.

Special interactive tours of the American art galleries, led by Harvard students in the Ho Family Student Guide Program, will deepen the lessons taught by St. Mark’s experienced and trained teachers in one of our museum classrooms. The course will meet every Saturday from February 10 through April 13, 2024.

To be eligible for this course, you must have had your green card for 4 years and 9 months, or 2 years and 9 months if your spouse is a U.S. citizen. Space is limited to 20 spots and registration is required. To register, please visit the St. Mark website and select the Harvard Art Museums class.

The Harvard Art Museums are now offering free admission every day, Tuesday through Sunday. Please see the museum visit page to learn about our general policies for visiting the museums.

This program is supported by the Ho Family Student Guide Fund. The Ho Family Student Guide Program at the Harvard Art Museums trains students to develop original, research-based tours of the collections. Find out what the Student Guides are up to anytime on Instagram @harvardarthappens.

The Harvard Art Museums are committed to accessibility for all visitors. For anyone requiring accessibility accommodations for our programs, please contact us at am_register@harvard.edu at least 48 hours in advance.
