On this special Student Guide Tour, join Student Guide Hannah Gadway ’25 in exploring how the legacy of the Crusades manifested in the art and architecture of Venice. The tour is inspired by a unit of the Harvard Medieval Studies course “Crusades in Material Culture.”

These tours, designed and led by Harvard undergraduates from a range of academic disciplines, focus on objects chosen by each Student Guide and provide visitors a unique, thematic view into the collections.

Please check in with museum staff at the Calderwood Courtyard desk to request to join the tour.

Free with museum admission. Tours are limited to 18 people and are available on a first-come, first-served basis; no advance registration required.

This in-person special tour is offered at 12pm. Student Guide Tours are usually offered every Saturday and Sunday at 11am and 2pm. Find out what the Student Guides are up to on Instagram @harvardarthappens and Facebook @HoStudentGuides.

This program is supported by the Ho Family Student Guide Fund.

The Ho Family Student Guide Program at the Harvard Art Museums prepares students to develop original, research-based tours of the collections. Through their training, Student Guides gain knowledge of the collections and develop skills in critical thinking, visual analysis, public speaking, and leadership.
