We encourage visitors to our special exhibition Made in Germany? Art and Identity in a Global Nation to attend a special concert.

The Boston-based Ludovico Ensemble will perform a concert of works by South Korean composer Younghi Pagh-Paan and Croatian composer Sara Glojnarić, both of whom were born outside Germany and now make their living as composers and composition teachers within the country. The concert explores the question of art in Germany as a global nation (second only to the United States as a destination for immigrants) and asks the question of who or what represents Germany today.

This program is free and open to all. For more information, please visit the Goethe-Institut Boston website. For any questions, please contact Annette Klein at annette.klein@goethe.de at the Goethe-Institut Boston.

Made in Germany? Art and Identity in a Global Nation is on view at the Harvard Art Museums from September 13, 2024 through January 5, 2025.
