ARTS FIRST at the Harvard Art Museums: Performance Fair in the Calderwood Courtyard

As part of the ARTS FIRST Festival, organized by the Office for the Arts at Harvard, the Harvard Art Museums will present an afternoon of student performances of classical harmonies in a wide variety of styles, in the Calderwood Courtyard.

Beethoven’s Violin Sonata No. 9, Op. 47 in A Major

Beethoven’s Violin Sonata No. 5, first movement

2–2:20pm
Beethoven’s Piano Sonata No. 31

2:30–4:30pm
Music 189, by the Parker Quartet, featuring excerpts of works by Arensky, Brahms, Dvořák, Franck, Schubert, Shostakovich, and Strauss

4:30–4:50pm
Barriere’s Cello Sonata No. 4 in G Minor

This program will take place in the Calderwood Courtyard.

Please note that the Harvard Art Museums are offering free admission on Saturday, April 30, to support ARTS FIRST programming.
