Staff Profile

Daron Manoogian heads the public relations and marketing, design, and editorial departments. He oversees all external communications, including public relations and marketing, social media, advertising, and media relations; the museums’ public website; video production; as well as the work of the graphic design and editorial teams in the production of books, print and digital materials, and Index magazine. Together, the division promotes the identity, exhibitions, programs, and scholarship of the Harvard Art Museums and supports the outreach efforts of several departments, including the curatorial divisions, the Straus Center for Conservation and Technical Studies, the Division of Academic and Public Programs, Institutional Advancement, and Visitor Services.

Prior to his arrival at Harvard in 2005, Manoogian was the manager of national program marketing at WBUR, Boston’s National Public Radio (NPR) affiliate. There he handled the syndication of nationally broadcast public radio programs, including The Connection, On Point, Here and Now, and Only a Game.
