2008.314.11: Ten Men Walking Away from an Arched Doorway
PrintsSimplified, semi abstract shapes in black, printed on orange paper depict a group of ten men in profile walking to the right, away from an arched doorway at left. Spare details show ten nearly identical men in a close group, occupying the left side of the image. All are dressed in coveralls and flat caps, all trudging forward, hands at their sides, most with their heads bowed. At left, the outside of the building is indicated only by the arched doorway, and by a slanting shadow that grows wider at the foreground in the lower left corner.
