Descriptions

Commentary

Charles Somers, 3rd Earl Somers and Viscount Eastnor (1819-1883), owned Eastnor Castle. Artists included in the inscription are: Gaspard Dughet (Poussin) (1615-1675), Masaccio (1401-before 1428), Paris Bordone (1500-1571), Anthony van Dyck (1599-1641), and Jacopo Tintoretto (1519-1594).
