Placid landscape scene with a few houses near middle bottom as a mountain elevates upward toward the right.

Strong ink lines define the rocky landscape, pine trees, and shrub textures. Gentle lines suggest a body of water from right. A house on the water’s edge near middle-left, faces the viewer with a wide window revealing two people, lightly drawn, seated opposite each other. A few people walk the dirt path on right carrying things, they’re small compared to the vastness of the landscape. A flowing waterfall in the distant middle right cascades into a bubbling stream in lower right below the path. Distant hills blend into rocky section. The vast negative space is rendered in gold leaf.
