Head and shoulder portrait of fair skinned man named Carlo Goldoni, his face posed in three-quarter view.

The man is seated towards the right as his head turns toward the viewer. He’s a clean-shaven middle-aged man dressed in eighteenth century attire of a robe or jacket over a ruffled white collar. His mouth is closed, he has a slight cleft to his chin. His face is rendered in detail while there’s an empty shape for his long puffy hair with some curly lines drawn in on the right. The background is undescribed with a gradation of light at the top to darker at the bottom.
