M10460: "Then the Lord answered Job out of the whirlwind,"
PrintsA robed figure with a waist-length beard floats horizontally in the air, swirling lines around him indicating a rush of wind. Below him on the ground, a bearded figure at left kneels with his hands folded in front of him. A woman kneels beside him, also with her hands folded, and they both gaze up at the flying figure. In front of them, three figures crouch with their heads down as if buffeted by the wind. The image is surrounded by a border with a biblical text from the book of Job and, as decorative motifs, twisted tree branches along the lower margin, and a group of floating figures above.
