We invite Partners to a behind the scenes look at the museums’ fascinating Forbes Pigment Collection, followed by a hands-on workshop in the Materials Lab!
The session will begin in the Straus Center for Conservation and Technical Studies, where conservation coordinator Alison Cariens will highlight rare and interesting pigments in the Forbes Pigment Collection. Afterward, you’ll visit the Materials Lab for a workshop exploring pigments, led by research curator Francesca Bewer.
Partners events are designed especially for our supporters between the ages of 21 and 45, offering gallery tours, close-looking sessions, and other special programs led by curators, fellows, and other specialists.
