Coffee with Curators for Friends of the Museums

We invite members of our Friends Circle to join us for coffee and an engaging presentation at the Harvard Art Museums. After coffee, A. Cassandra Albinson, the Margaret S. Winthrop Curator of European Art, Casey Kane Monahan, the Cunningham Senior Curatorial Assistant for the Collection, and Marina Kliger, the Rousseau Curatorial Fellow in European Art, will speak about the special exhibition The Solomon Collection: Dürer to Degas and Beyond. The exhibition spotlights more than 135 works, including paintings, sculptures, drawings, and prints, by some of the most significant artists from the Renaissance to the 20th century. It celebrates a significant recent bequest to the Harvard Art Museums from passionate collectors Arthur K. and Mariot F. Solomon.

Following the presentation, we invite attendees to explore the exhibition on Level 3, with their newfound knowledge of the Solomon Collection.
