At the Straus Center, Georgina Rayner has worked on many technical investigations studying the materials used in artworks, including a survey to identify the plastics present in objects in the collections and another to identify the pigments and binders used by Aboriginal artists in traditional bark paintings. The latter project supported the exhibition Everywhen: The Eternal Present in Indigenous Art from Australia.
