Contour drawing of a seated dog

A few quick, spare, soft gray lines trace the outline and face of a dog. The dog sits up facing the viewer and looks attentively at us. Its front legs are square and its ears flop at its sides. Seemingly pregnant, its belly is wide and a single squiggled line indicates swollen teats that almost touch the floor where it crouches. No background is shown on the blank white paper and the artist has stamped a symbol of his initials at lower left in red.
