2003.40.8: Study of a Dog
DrawingsQuickly sketched light gray lines trace the outlines of a dog in profile facing left. At the extreme left side at top, lines slating downward show its neck, the dog’s head not fitting on the page. Lines for its left foreleg intersect with the line showing its chest which curves sharply upward to its narrow belly and then to it’s hind leg. A single line curves downward showing its tail. No background is shown on the cream colored paper.
