2003.40.16: Bird
SculptureThe bronze sculpture shown a bird with wings raised. The head is slightly raised with a blunted end, a small hole is set into the side as the head widens out to the body. One wing is formed with a sharp edge that slopes down to the back in an arch. The center is cut out in an oval. The other wing is a broad oval with rounded edges. The surface is mottled with areas of light and very dark.
