2009.11.A: Title page, from the portfolio "Hunger"
PrintsBold black type on a white page is arranged in a stylized manner. At top left in large bold is the word “HUNGER”. Just below this at top center is a “7” in equally large type, with two lines of German text to the right of it, “ORIGINALLITHOGRAPHIEN” above “GESMATERLOS FUR DIE HUNGERHILFE”. Below are two more blocks of text in German, including a list at center of seven artists: Otto Dix, George Grosz, Eric Johansson, Käthe Kollwitz, Otto Nagel, Karl Völker, and Heinrich Zille.
