2009.11.3: Untitled, from the portfolio "Hunger"
PrintsThree figures clustered together are rendered in soft sketchy lines against blank space with only minimal shading to indicate background. At center, an elderly woman looks at us with a tired expression. She leans her head against her large fist, her other arm resting across her lap. A small girl to her right leans her head against the woman’s shoulder and stares up and off to the right. Behind the two, an older man with a mustache and unkempt hair stands with stooped shoulders and his head hanging forward. His face is gaunt and he stares off to the left.
