Obv.: Countermark: to l., bust of Heraclius facing, with short beard, wearing cuirass, paludamentum, and crown with cross; to r., Imperial monogram; the whole on an oval or circular punch stamped on or behind the head of Justin I No. 9 (mint-mark and officina illegible).
Rev.: SCLs with bar above, within an oval or circular countermark. Struck on exergue of an earlier type.
