Descriptions Description Obv.: Bust of Christ (Type VIIb) facing, bearded, with nimbus cross having X with pellets between arms, wearing tunic and himation; r. hand raised in blessing in sling of cloak, l. holds book with ornate cover (similar design to that on nimbus cross, except circle with pellet in the middle at middle of X) from beneath.
