Description
Obv.: Inscription in upper field. Virgin nimbate, wearing tunic and maphorion, seated upon throne with back; holds beardless, nimbaet head of Christ on breast. Asterisk on Virgin's throne to either side.

Rev.: Inscription i two columnar groups. Full-length figure of emperor wearing stemma, divitision, collar-piece, jeweled loros of simplified type, and sagion; holds in r. hand scepter cruciger, and in l., anexikakia. Manus Dei in upper r. field. Collar-piece has six to eight jewels. Loros waist.
