Social Conditions, General: Austria. Vienna. Density of Population: Social Conditions, Europe: Density and Spread of Population in Berlin and Vienna - 1906: 1 dot per 1000 inhabitants. The population of Berlin is unevenly distributed. Berline tenement houses are built to the very edge of the city without an intervening territory of cottage homes which accounts for the heavily dotted sections on the outskirts of the city map.
