Descriptions
- Description
- Sketchbook with gray cardboard covers, held together by white spiral wire. The pages are of white wove paper, with a perforated edge and discoloration to the outside edges. The outside of the front cover is stamped "Dessin / Drawing / made in France / 16 x 11 / Ref: D8 / Sennelier Paris 3 / quai Voltaire Paris 7e / 4 bis, rue de la Grande / Chaumiere Paris 6e." The outside back cover has a price sticker of "F7.15" and an inscription, written vertically in graphite, that reads "JAN. 1981." This inscription is written over in thick black marker, "JAN. 1982." There are twenty-five drawings, although some pages may have been removed. The drawings are dated in graphite in the lower right corner. There are no drawings on the verso of the sheets. All the drawings are executed in watercolor with either ink or graphite framing rectangles applied over the watercolor. All the drawings depict landscapes.
