- Description
- Photograph taken in Korea probably in 1947 or 1948 (as it appears in the first edition of Horace Bristol's book, Korea, which was published in 1948). Vintage gelatin silver print; with stamps on the back reading "Photograph by Horace Bristol" and "East-West Photographic Agency". Mid-twentieth-century street scene in central Korea with an eighty-two year-old gentleman in traditional garb (white robe and black, horse-hair hat) and a man drying newly made noodles.
