2005.109: View of Wimmis, Valley of the Simmental, Switzerland
PaintingsA landscape painting depicts two large mountains, their bases meeting in the center of the image. The sky above the mountains is bright blue, with a few small clouds. At the base of the mountains, there are several white and red-brown buildings, clustered at the left-hand side. There is a line of trees beginning at the buildings and extending across the base of the mountains. The bottom half of the frame consists of a bright green field, which tapers off into white space.
