  • inscription: on mount, graphite, lower right: 7.00
  • watermark: animal and shield in circle surmounted by a star, similar to Briquet 1131
  • inscription: [red stamp applied at bottom and lower right on verso of mount: the one in the middle obscures a stamp from the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston (M.F.A.); the one at the lower right is probably stamped over the MFA's accession number]
