Title
Children walk past a burned building in the aftermath of riots sparked by the acquittal of four police officers who were videotaped beating Rodney King, Los Angeles, 1992. The unrest, which spread from South Central L.A. to other parts of the city, left 53 people dead and caused an estimated $1 billion worth of property damage.
