- inscription: Recto, in typed black ink: Walking the tread mill wearing red socks/ I watched the socks get in front of each other. / I was mesmerized by their color and / the idea that they were your socks. / I'd work them without asking you. / Even if you wouldn't walk the tread mill / your socks had gotten mixed up with my feet. / They were our socks. / I grinned I was so happy despite the fiction of tread mill and / feet.
