A black and white print shows circular shapes through a dense grid of intersecting lines.

In this black and white print, numerous straight lines separated by only a millimeter form a thick grid. Behind them, along the left and upper sides of the scene, are globular shapes. In the middle of the image, the grid is interrupted by three large, bright white circular forms. A long rectangular shape sticks out from under the circular form on the right. The phrase "épreuve d’artiste" and the artist’s signature are handwritten in cursive underneath the image.
