[1] See "A Newly Discovered Drawing by Bronzino for the Chapel of Eleonora di Toledo," Master Drawings, Vol. 52, No. 4, Winter 2014, Carmen C. Bambach, p. 423. The Henri de Peyerimhoff de Fontenelle collection was passed on to his heirs and works have been sold at various times.

[2] Per 1967 exhibition catalogue for "Drawings of Luca Cambiaso" at the Finch College Museum of Art, the drawing was lent from the collection of Mr. and Mrs. Germain Seligman.
