A painting of a man in uniform and a woman in a white robe with a child.

The painting shows a man in a brown uniform and hat standing on a green foreground, his left arm held over his waist, facing the viewer. Behind to the right is a female figure facing the man wearing a white robe, a blue head covering and tying a child to her back and looks over her left shoulder. In the center of the background is a tawny colored sharply peaked mountain, behind are dark brown mountains stretching to the left and right. White clouds float above the peaks. The sky is muted shades of orange with dark gray clouds edged in light gray.
