A drawing with watercolor depicts a single tulip with a green stem and red and white petals. The stem is long, straight, thin, and bright green with three leaves protruding from the bottom. Each leaf faces towards the sky with a pointed tip and curled edges. There are seven white petals streaked with red at the top of the flower. The petals are both rounded and pointed and all point straight upwards. The title of the piece “Wit en root Boode” is present at the bottom left of the print.
