Woman in fancy dress and coat sits in the center of landscape looking at the viewer with raised eyebrows.

The fair-skinned woman has light curly hair, ribboned cap tilts to the right, satin coat with buttons is cinched at the waist, the dress also has a silky sheen to it. She sits under an old leafy tree branch, vines and plant growth around, an open cloudy sky on the right. At her elbow on the left a hare and pheasant hang upside down from a branch, a long gun resting behind. On the right, her hand rests on a dog’s head pawing towards her lap. A second hairy dog sits at her knee, lower right, looking right.
