Descriptions Description Raw plain weave cotton duck canvas fragment with three knife cut edges and one selvedge edge. The fragment has a turn edge with staple holes. Staining along the turn edge could imply that the canvas was on a wooden stretcher. There is a black accretion, which could possibly be paint.
