Descriptions
- Description
- Painted plain weave cotton duck canvas fragment with white ground and regular knife cut edges. Adjacent areas of dark red and orange paint are applied diagonally with respect to the canvas weave on top of the white ground. White ground is visible between the two painted passages where they do not meet. The verso has a drip of what may be white priming.
