Painted plain weave cotton duck canvas fragment with knife cut edges and a white ground layer. The white ground layer has a taped edge with white ground on either side of the 1.125" wide taped line. Red paint, with both matte and glossy areas, is applied with a dry brush revealing raw canvas below. The fragment has a turn edge.
