Descriptions Description Painted plain weave cotton duck canvas fragment with two knife cut edges, two selvedge edges, and a white ground layer. A two inch band of blue paint runs the length of the 94" fragment. White ground is visible through losses to the blue layer. The fragment also has a turn edge and tacking margin with stape holes, which runs the length of the fragment. turn edge, and tacking margin with staple holes run the length of the 94" fragment.
