- Description
- Painted plain weave cotton duck canvas fragment with two knife cut edges, two selvedge edges, and a white ground layer. A two inch band of blue paint runs the length of the 94" fragment. White ground is visible through losses to the blue layer. The fragment also has a turn edge and tacking margin with stape holes, which runs the length of the fragment. turn edge, and tacking margin with staple holes run the length of the 94" fragment. The selvedge edges are located at the narrow ends of the fragment. The fragment is rolled for storage.
