A man riding a horse with lowered head in lower right passes man with cart heading opposite direction. On the left a group of men recline, one stands holding up a cup with a jug by his feet. Above them, a calligrapher with brush in hand marks a paper on the ground while a small boy holds down the paper opposite him. Above them a man crouches behind a large vertical paper attached to a bamboo pole. To the right of him, three men sit reclined around a low table in the center right.
