2018.357: Daruma
PaintingsA man’s expressive face is rendered right of center, facing towards the left in three-quarter view, while his large eyes look to the right and have small dark pupils. He has a wide nose, balding from the forehead, beard, and large eyebrows, his left ear is visible. His clothing is undefined, perhaps wearing a robe while seated with his knees against his chest. There are three lines of vertical calligraphy in upper left, red seal at the end, background is the paper surface.
