Black ink etching of a cat on a windowsill that overlooks an evening scene in the country.

In this black ink etching, a cat is shown sitting on the right side of a windowsill. Its striped back is to the viewer, and it is in profile looking left. The two sides and bottom of the windowsill are in view, and there is writing along the bottom. These architectural and feline elements are in shadow, and beyond them is an evening scene of a country landscape. Curving along the bottom left is a tree-lined road where a man and a woman are walking with a dog. The sky is filled with large clouds and a crescent moon.
