The colored photograph depicts a sign made out of flares in the configuration of the words MIND TWIST. The background is black, with the flares from the sign creating a red haze surrounding the words. The typed inscription underneath the image reads FIREWORKS SIGN (1975) / 4' X 16' / STRONTIUM NITRATE, PERCHLORATE / LEWISTON, N.Y. There is a handwritten inscription at the bottom of the sheet with the edition number and artist's signature.
