The black and white photograph shows the interior of a barbershop. The barber’s chair is in the center foreground, it is turned to the view, the seat is black, the arms and around the base are white, there is a towel on the headrest and fabric draped over the right arm of the chair. A light hangs from the ceiling above the chair. Along the back wall is a large wooden set of shelves with several mirrors, cases of tools, and a lamp. A wall clock and a customer are reflected in the center mirror. Two straps for sharpening straight razors hand from the edge of the counter on the left.
