2010.538.2: A Venetian Canal
PhotographsA black-and-white photograph portrays a narrow, quiet Venetian canal. The water is still, almost glass like, reflecting the buildings that line the canal on both sides. Empty gondolas line the canal tied off to the narrow building docks. A decorative footbridge is the focal point in the distance. Two decorative, iron balconies line the second story apartments along the canal.
