Descriptions

Description
The drawing represents two memorial tablets for members of the family of the Marquis of Lothian. The tablet on the left reads: "To/the memory/of the most/noble Wm. John Kerr/V Marquis of/Lothian died/5th Jan. 1815/aged 78." The tablet on the right reads: "To/the memory/Lord Charles Kerr/second son of the/Wm. John Kerr/V Marquis of Lothian/died 1816 age/40. Also Elizabeth/Relic of the Late Ld. CB Kerr/10th Nov. 1830/age 54"
