Descriptions

Description
Body sherd, probably from a jar. A buff-fired slip has been applied with a dark glaze. The dark brown-black paint is used to form thick bands around the vessel, which then have a layer of white paint atop them. The dark paint is also used in to form //, vertical lines from the top band. MM IIA-B, Classical Kamares
