Description
Large jar with everted rim, short neck, broad shoulders, and lower portion tapering inward to a small flat base; medium gray earthenware with impressed geometric decoration.
Commentary
Compare to:
Earthenware jar of similar form with closely related decor excavated in 2010 from a Spring and Autumn period earth-mound tomb near Mount Zhenshan, Suzhou, Jiangsu province, now in the Archaeological Institute of Suzhou City. See Wenwu [Cultural Relics] 5 (2016): 7, figs. 6-7.
