Two women face each other in the foreground. The woman on the right is seated at a tall table, in profile facing left. Her legs are crossed, and her hands rest on the tabletop. On the left, a woman leans her elbows on the same table. Her body mostly faces away from the viewer and angles toward the other woman. Both women have their hair in buns. In the background on the left is another ambiguous figure. It is hard to determine from their gesture if they are sitting or standing, but they appear to be facing the foreground women.
