- inscription: removed from old mount, now in curatorial file, graphite: (Platform Oak), being a large white oak on the Randall farm at Stowe Mass. / standing on the junction of two Cartpaths near the middle entrance to the great wood. The right hand path / leads presently through an old orchard into the cornfield (Drawn from nature June 1852 by Henry Hitchings).
