J. RiedererTechnical Observations: The patina is dark green and black with spots of underlying red. Part of the loop and most of the front legs are lost. The object was cast from a wax model that was formed directly in the wax. The animal’s mouth may have been reinforced by cold working.

- Description
- This pendant is in the shape of a stylized animal standing frontally. The animal has very high, straight ears or horns. The head is small and short with no detail, except perhaps a small, incised line indicating the mouth. The suspension loop rises out of the back of the animal. The body has a scooped shape, a rounded rump, and a small, nub-like tail. The legs are thin and spindly. No other details are present.
